- It is supposed that there is a pot of gold hidden at Lugmore coalmines under a white thorn bush. It is supposed that there is a cat watching it. A long long time ago there lived a man named MacMorrow. He dreamt of the pot of gold three nights in succession. He said he would to the place where the gold was. As he was about to look for the gold there came feur on him. He thought over it a few times and he thought about the cat that was watching it. He was afraid that the cat might take his life and he ran home and no one ever went near it since.
