- There was a man living in this district once and he dreamt of a pot of gold for three nights in succession. Before he had this dream every animal he bought died. In the dream he was told to go where the gold was alone at twelve o'clock. He was also told that if he did not like to go and hoke for it at night, to go during the day and look around the place and that for a token that the gold was there he would find a shilling and to put the shilling in the first animal he would buy. The first animal he bought was a horse and no animal died on him ever after that.
