- There is an old fort near my house. A fort is a little field planted with trees, and fairies are supposed to be living in them. There are old Kings buried in some forts and the fairies are supposed to be watching over their dead bodies. There is gold buried in some forts. It is said that it is not lucky to cut a fort tree. A fort is a very lonely place and some people are afraid to pass by it at night . There was a man once and he cut a fort tree and he died soon afterwards.
