- Long ago when doctors were scarce the people had cures of their own. The cures were as follows
1) There is a leaf called cutfinger and if you peel the skin off it and put it om a cut on your finger it would cure it. If you 2) had a mole in your eye and leave your eye on an egg stand and to say certain prayers it would fall out. If you had the chin cough
3) and get a potatoe lost on the road and bring it home and boil it and eat it you would be cured. If a person had a sore
