  2. There was once an Irishman who was in America. One day he thought he would go home. He set off and there was another man in the ship who had a big brown fur coat. He made up his mind to steal it. He thought if he had it he would be rich for life. He had it in his hand when the owner came and caught him and was going to throw him out into the sea when somebody pulled him back. That night they heard a great noise up on top of the ship.
