    Ussher, but she would not listen to his request.
    Captain Ussher was about to be promoted from Mohill, Co Leitrim to Cashel Co Tipperary. He came one day and told her the news, and when she heard it, she wanted to know what would become of her. She started sobbing and wanted him to bring her with him, but he refused to do so. She kept on sobbing until she nearly went hysterical, he at last consented to do so. They settled the time for their departure and arranged to be married in Dublin.
    Feemy told the secret to the maid of Ballycloran on the evening of her departure. Feemy packed her things. When the time arrived she walk to the gate accompanied by the maid and waited until Ussher came up in his gig. Ussher was late and Feemy nearly fainted with the cold as she had so long to wait. After a long time Ussher arrived in his gig. Thady MacDermot happened
