    side of Loch Allen near the borders of Co Cavan. After spending some time there, he returned to Father John McGrath to ask his advice. Father John brought him to Carrick where the police put him in prison until the next court.
    At the inquest the coroner's verdict was that death was due to the two heavy blows which fractured the skull and were quite sufficient to cause instantaneous death.
    Feemy was brought as a witness to the trial. She was very weak as she was after having fever and during the time she was waiting for her call she collapsed and artificial respiration was applied but 'twas of no avail she was too exhausted to respond to treatment.
    The jury found the prisoner guilty of murder Baron Hamilton immediately put the black cap on his head and proceed to announce the death sentence. The execution was fixed
