Fenagh, This Abbey is still to be seen and it is supposed to be lovely. It has an oriel window in it and it is cut out in stone.
There was another Saint in Fenagh also called St. Columcille.
There was a Saint in Cloone called St. Freach. St Freach came to Cloone in the year 570.
Students come from all over the world to St Columcille's monastery in Fenagh.
There is a graveyard in Annaduff called "Tobar Patrick". There is a well in this graveyard and St. Patrick was supposed to drink out of it. If anyone has ringworm, and if they wash in it they will be cured. There is never a live worm seen in the graveyard.
St Patrick's day is the most common Saint's day kept in Ireland. People say that Cloone was the last place for St. Patrick to walk. Monaghan day is called after St. Manachan.
