- (continued from previous page)In a field in Cloonboney there was a well and it was closed to prevent neighbours from carrying water from it. It was closed one evening and the next morning another well had sprung up about six perch from where the well was. It was about twice as big as the former one and it is always flowing over with water the hottest day in Summer.
