If the Beanshee cries around the house, there is going to be a death in the house.
If you see a ghost and ask it anything, you won't live long.
If the corpse does not stiffen it is a sign of another death in the family.

If a hen crows at 12:00 at night it is a sign of a death.
If you see a white light going round the house it is a sign of a death.

If the water the dead person is washed in quenches the fire it is the sign of another death in the same house.
N.B. When the corpse was washed the water was always thrown in behind the fire.
If the dog cries at the window of a sick person that person will soon die.
Sunday's improvement (of a sick person) is a bad one. Friday's improvement is a good one.
