   To be said when rising:- As I walked out the Holy land, I met the Blessed Virgin with seven mass books in her hand, Seven priests singing, seven bells ringing Seven candles lit, Lamb of God, shut the gates of hell, open the gates of heaven And let these poor sinners in. To be said at night after Rosary God bless Friday and Good Friday too, The day our Saviour was crucified by the Jews The Jews came with their spears sharp And pierced Our Saviour through the heart His precious blood did flow from heart to hand His blessed mother stood looking on, With heavy sighs and grevious tears All ye who say this prayer Three times rising and three times lying, Shall never enter mortal sin or the gates of hell.
