St. Farranan on borders of Easkey parish.
St. Molaise at InnishmurrayInnishmurray belonged to the Parish of Templeboy and was used as its burying place. During stormy weather the corpse was buried temporarily in Corkabeg.The Cora Doun is a deep cave on the shore near Aughris Head. Near it is the impression of a horse's hoof in the solid rock caused by the horse of O'Dowd, chief of Tiernagh.The Holy Wells are:
(1) St Farranan's near Easkey.
(2) St. Muireadach's at Aughris
(3) Tobar Chathail Bhoicht at Ballygreighan.Grangemore was one time the site of a monastery where the ruin is at present near the cemetery.(continues on next page)
