  1. This is a game that was played by the girls long ago. A lot o girls would make a ring and one girl would stand in the middle and put her hands up to her eyes and let on that she was crying. The rest of the girls would start singing a rhyme which ran like this.
    "What's poor Mary weeping for"
    Weeping for
    Weeping for
    What's poor Mary weeping for
On a bright and sunshine morning"
    Then came the answer.
"She's weeping because she has lost her love.
    Lost her love
    Lost he rlove
Seh's weeping because she has lost her love
On a bright and sunshine morning"
    and then they would say.
"Down on a carpet she must kneel
    She must kneel
    She must kneel
On a bright and sunshine morning.
