Soon afterwards Jones was converted as told and he never evicted another.
The Banada Abbey and lands passed into the nun's hands. They sold some of the lands to the Land Commission. The Sisters of Chastity are still living in Banada Abbey. Land Lordism is now abolished in Eire and I hope there will never be another Land Lord in my native land. The eviction times are now past and we children think of them as terrible fairy tales as we listen to the sean daoine caoidhe telling sad eviction tales.
