  1. When starting to pay a round in the Cloghane graveyard, the following prayer used be said at the entrance to the ruins of the old Catholic Church, and the final prayers were said within the ruins, in front of the image of Crom Dubh:-

    "Go mbeannuighidh Dia is Muire dhuit
    A Theampaill naomhtha
    Fé mar beannuigheaim na Naoimh
    Is na h-aingil go léir leat
    A gearán mo chás a thána fein leat
    Agus iarraim mo leigheas
    I gCunntas Dé ort."
