July 26th 1938There once lived in Milltown a Parish Priest named Fr. Batt O'Connor. This priest was sent by the Bishop to counteract the ravages which were done by the Soupers. The majority of these people lived in the district of Callinafercy
These atheists went about trying to drag the Catholics into their own line of belief. For a time they succeeded to such an extent that they built a house and used cater for their converts there, every day.
