Long ago a man was going home and he was drunk. When he reached home he went to bed, and in the middle if the night he woke up and he went out to the garden. There he saw a cat killing his chickens he went over to the cat and he hit it on the head and it went away. When the man went into bed he got a big shock the cat went up on the window sill and started crying out, "O Dairbí Dáiligh how well I earned your chickens", "O mo ceann tinn mo ceann tinn. After that the man was coming home one night and he was attacked by a dozen cats, and only for another man coming on he would be killed.- Bailitheoir
