- The Hauling Home.when a boy and a girl get married and when they are returning to the groom's house that is called the hauling home. In this part of the country it is called the dragging home. When the bride goes home with the groom it is considered unlucky for her to visit her parents inside a month after the marriage, the bride accompanied by her husband attends mass at her former church and goes to her parents home for dinner.
