    The wild birds that are found most in this district are as follows, - Seagull, Plover, Pigeon, Crow, Magpie, Hark, Crane, Willi-Wag-Tail, Robin, Lap-wing, Wren, Sparrow, Thrush, Gold-Finch, Yellow-Hammer, Starling, Cuckoo, Corn-Crake, Swallow, Wild-Duck, Wild-Goose and others like that. The Swallow, Cuckoo, Corn-Crake, and Wild Goose go to warmer countries for our winter and they come back again to use for the Summer. The Wild-goose generally comes from Scotland they stop here for the Winter generally and they go in the months of April and May to other countries. The birds build their nests every-where about such places as in bushes, tree-tops, hay-sheds, lofts, barns
