“There was once a man in Cully and his name was John.”
He was always churning, but he could not get any butter. One day when he was out he saw his butter going with the river. After a while he met and old woman. She told him to get two of the best greyhounds in the village. When he went out with the greyhounds he saw a big hare sucking the cows. The hounds followed the hare and caught him. The man cleaned the hare and put him in a pot. After a while he went to take up the hare and there was nothing in the pot but black water.- Collector
