- There are four forges in the parish. The smiths are Lawrence Mullaney, Patrick Grady, Patrick Cunningham and James Quinan. Two of them are old and the others are newly built and one of the former is in ruins.
Pat Grady's and Lawrence Mullaney's are beside a crossroads: and Pat Cunnighams's is in Cuilmore, and James Quinan's forge which is now in ruins is in ruins. Annaghmore. The foreges are all thatched. The door is very wide and of no special shape.
