    Generally "Straw Boys" visit the wedding house. If the "Straw Boys" get drunk they are put outside the door.
    There is no hauling home now-a-days.
    Money is the particular dowry that is given now-a-days, but in olden times stocks of cattle were given as well as other things.
    The girl's people send an account to the boy's people about the match. Sometimes the match is made, and on other times it is broken for some reason or other.
