    had he there, and the begger said his old grandmother. He went on to the girl's home and met the girl's father. He asked what would he give him for saving his daughter. He said he would let him live with him always. The girl's father asked the beggar-man what would he do to the man on the black horse. He said he would thrash him with a whip and kill him, and he did so. The beggar-man always lived with the man after that.
