- Candle-making:-
The old people used to pour the melted fat of a cow into long, narrow, moulds. A nail to which a cord was tied, was first placed at the bottom of the mould. This cord passed through the melted fat, and was fastened to another nail on top. This was allowed to stand until set. Then it was placed before the fire(continues on next page)- Collector
