In the year 1889 about the end of July in this district. It did a lot of damage to hay which was not drawn home. It lasted a whole day and part of the night. It is said there were some people going to Killarney that day, and as they were passing the "Spa" a lock fell on them and killed
A severe thunderstorm occurred in the beginning of May in 1912. It did great harm, killed three cows belonging to Dan Leary of Ballinalulla. (?)(continues on next page)- Collector
