- We have a churn at home. It is about three feet in height. There are different kinds of churns. The churn we have is called a dash-churn. The sides of our churn is round in shape. It is fourteen years old.
Butter is made once every week in Winter and twice and three times in Summer. My mother and father does the churning. People churn the milk to make butter, and buttermilk.
Before the milk is churned the people put the milk into a crock until it is thickened. Then it is put into a churn(continues on next page)- Collector
