    Another doctor was called in.
    A man of faith and fame
    To cry and save that sacred life
    And to relieve the pain

    "your wife she yet may live.
    Good nursing peace and quietness

    So now my friends you know my lot
    I trust it pass your door,
    Where waters meet and part
    Some part to meet no more

    I stood upon that broken ship,
    For weeks we rowed and sailed.
    But God in mercy intervened,
    Straight into port we sailed

    I'm longing her to see,
    Her offspring and her cheery smile,
