    Should murmur or complain.
    For in thy crown he's shining now
    The brightest diadena [?]

    Oh! Father I thank thee for the strength
    Ton his dear mother given,
    On Sabbath morning to walk and see
    her childs fresh grave.

    She stood and pondered there a while,
    Gazed on the wreaths of flowers,
    The chill November wind it blew.
    Fast fell the bitter showers.
    VIII
    She spoke again and said,
    "My only child lies here,
    Oh Father in heaven teach me
    Thy holy name to fear."

    She turned home and still Prayed on
    For God to reconcile.
    Hers and the Father's heart also
    For the loss of their dear child.
