- In this country there are many cures for diseases with herbs ( by rubbing).A cure for warts was the juice of a dandelion on them. Another cure was find a snail and rub it on them and then hang the snail on a bush and when it rots the warts will go away. Another cure was take half a boiled potatoe and half a raw one and rub it on them.A cure for a toothache was:- get a black caterpillar and put it in a handkerchief and rum it on your gum.
