- A few years ago a Ferryman went across to England in search of work. He travelled through various parts of the country but failed to get employment. He returned to his lodgings one evening exhausted after a long days march. Next morning in order to kill time he entered a graveyard and commenced to read the inscriptions on the tombstones. He came across this one which read as follows-
"Remember man as you pass by
What you are now so once was I
What I am now so you will be
Remember death and follow me"
The Ferryman took a piece of chalk from his pocket and wrote underneath-
"To follow you I am quite content but I am damned if I know which road you went"- Collector
