- Two men were fighting at a place called Stralie. The names of the men were Connal Carnac and Luie Mac na dTrí gCon. One of the men lost his life; it was Connal Carnac. He was buried at a place called Coran Dubh at the top of Finnan hill. It was a pagan custom that when any person was going up there to take a stone to the top and put it where this chief was buried. So now there is a big heap of stones there.
