  1. There was a man living down near Blackstaff who had a very small farm in which was a small fort.
    The poor man thought he would like more ground and cleared some of the trees in the fort and began to plough in near to it.
    That night, he heard endless cries in the place and round his house. He went back next day and returned a 'scrape' at the fort.
    The cries were never more heard and everything seemed to thrive well with him.
