Sheila Finegan - There are some fields in my district named in Irish and the rest are named in English. The ones named in Irish are Cnoc Dubh, Cnoc i Deora, Páirc Clúth and Aghaid na Cloiche. Some of the names of ones in English are the saddle hill, the haggard field, and the road field. We have a bog named Peacys(?) bog after a man who lived there long ago. There is a drain which divides the townlands of Dromore and Kednaminsha it is always known as the flax pit it is called that because flax was stept in it in the olden times.Christina Murphy
