    The boots were made in Drumcatton by Laurence Campbell who used to employ a few journeymen from fifty to sixty years back. He even then made very light uppers and did a nice fine shoe.
    In Carrickmacross sixty years ago there were:-

    Barney Finegan, Mullinarry. He sold at 8 or 9 shillings.
