  1. In this district some people would not flit from one house to another on a Saturday, of if they were sick, they would not rise from bed because they say "Saturday's flit is a short sit". Friday is looked upon as being a lucky day for flitting, rising from bed, or for the beginning of any business matter.
The "Cross day of the Year" is not known in our district.
The first three days of April are the borrowing days known in our district. The thirteenth of every month is looked upon as being an unlucky day for anything in this district.
