    After some years Dympna's father decided to marry again and sent his servants through the land in search of the most beautiful lady whom he would force to marry him.
    Soon the servants returned and said that his own daughter - Dympna surpassed them all in beauty. The servants being pagan like himself decided that he should marry Dympna.
    When the father made known his wish to his daughter - she - being a christian knew that such a marriage
