- He lives in Ardea. He was a tailor by trade. he had a lame leg. He had a red dog and when he sued to go out in the evening for a walk he used bring the dog with him. One morning he was coming out the road and Jer Shea had a big pig and the pig tore the dog. The dog died. Murty Larry made a song about the dog.
"My neat little puppy how ugly I lost you
His two little ears were as red as a rose
His tail was as round as the wheel of circle
And now he is dead and has gone to repose.
My neat little Charlie the pride of Killarney
He came from some region beyond the wild seas
Bad luck to the swine that tore him to pieces
That the grinders may stick to her jaws".
