    for holes in the snow for their animals. A great drought took place in 1887, the grass was cut in the morning, and taken to the market.
    The cattle broke lose for the want of water, which was sold in bucketfuls. In more recent years a terrible wind storm, with hail and rain took place. A man perished near my home and alot of damage was done to almost everything.
