    Forge Work:
    Forge Work was carried out in my districk in former times by the Behans. These were a family who lived about a half mile outside the village.
    This was continued up to a few years ago. They are not doing any forgework now because their father died a few years ago. These made gates, ploughs and farming utensils. Their implimens were hammers, pinchers, sledges, wrenches, punches, hacksaws, an anvil, stamps, vices, knives etc. Most of the old gates around Celbridge were
