  2. For many years an old stone lay outside the door of Timolin Protestant Church. One day Mr Long, the Rector, had the stone dug up & washed.
    It was found to be like a tomb-stone having the figure of a man & the traces of an inscription. It was supposed the stone was erected to memory of a [?] well know at Timolin in years gone by
