    was the devil.
    There was a white blackbird in in Arona gate-house one year. He remained white for a whole year and then turned black to his natural colour. White crows were often seen in the district too. They are known as thieving crows and are never liked by anyone.

  2. There are very few tame birds in my district, the greater number of them are wild ones. The wild birds most commonly found in my district are the Blackbird and the Thrush. I have heard the following story about a bird.
