- Clogs were made in Glen-a Hamhna. The man that made them is dead. He used to make the clog-soles too. Clogs are still worn. Long ago the people used not wear shoes or boots until they were fifteen or sixteen years. Some people did not get boots until they were going to England. The children used not wear any boots in Winter or Summer. The children nowadays goes bare-foot in Summer.
