. A carpenter living there years ago dreamt three nights in a succession that this pot of gold was hidden in a tree. He went to the tree, pulled off the moss and discovered a pot inside. A leprechaun came up to him and the man was very much afraid. He went for a comrade of his and when they came to the tree again the pot was in the same place. One of them put in his hand and took the pot out but instead of getting the gold he expected to find all he got was a pot of nuts.
