  1. Many years ago a beggarman was travelling from Tulsk to Ballinagare and he became hungry. He saw this house on the side of the road , so he decided to call and ask for a piece of bread.
    The woman of the house gave him a big piece of oatenmeal cake with butter on it. The beggarman took it and went out on the road. He licked the butter off the bread and came back to the house. The woman opened the door and found the same beggarman there who said
    "Here's your board mam and thanks very much for the butter".
