    baskets at the fair. The baskets were made of sallies. The fair used to be held in all kinds of weather. Nothing prevented the fair from being held. The reason the fair was stopped was:- two men had a young horse at the fair. When they were on the fair a couple of men came up to by the horse. They were talking about the horse for a while. Then they felt his bones and skin and legs. As they were doing so the horse took fright and jumped on the two buyers. The whole fair came to a stand still. The two buyers were unconscious. They were taken into the nearest house. They died shortly after. They were buried in Carrick. Then those who were in charge of the fair held a meeting. The meeting was held where the fair used to be held. The reason they meeting was held to decide would the fair be held any more or not. The meeting was held on a Sunday. No one else was allowed at the meeting except those in charge of the fair. The meeting lasted several hours. At last it was decided to hold the fair again. When the people heard this they were very
