- Long ago they used not use any baskets only home made ones. They used to cut sallies and let them weather. Then they would weave them into one another in the shape of baskets or "kishes". Then they would put handles in them. This trade is carried out to a small extent in this parish at the present day. A lot of farmers make their own kishes, and a lot of labouring people make them and sell them.
