had to abandon school altogether in the bad weather as the wet came in through the roof and walls. Rodey Shelly was the teachers name and he walked seven miles every day to the school. There was an old man living here up to a few years ago and he attended this school.
There was also a hedge school up on the hill at the back of the present school. It is said that while at school one evening something strange appeared around the place and that it was almost the end of it.
