    got his men to start to work and build the house as he had no time to spare. When they had half the wall built the little man appeared again and told them not to continue the house it would be no use, but they persisted to build it. When they had the house built, they built a Summer house near where the leipréacán lived. The man was very pleased to see his fine house and he invited his mother to live with him but she would not. When the friends came he took them to the summer house but they saw nothing but a heap of leaves. Back they went to the house and they saw the same thing and all his servants
