  1. There was a young man one time who lived with his sister about six miles outside the town of New Ross. He owned a field with a rath in the middle of it. The field had never been tilled in his father's time and when he was dying he warned his son not to till it, but the son forgot his father's advice and began to till it. He ploughed alright until his sister came to call him to his dinner. Then when he was unyoking the horses he began to feel sleepy, slipped to the ground and fell fast asleep.
