- The townsland I live in is Clohastia. There are seven families living in this townsland at present. There are many ruins of old houses to be seen which show that this townsland was thickly populated long ago. My Grandfather told me that there were twenty two families living in Clohastia at one time. Clohastia is situated about two miles from Graignamanagh and it is spearated on the north from Ullard by a river which we call Duggan's River, because it flows(continues on next page)
